Hormonal Imbalance Treatment in Hyderabad
PCOD and PCOS respond well to sustained changes in nutrition, movement, sleep and stress. At Ravide Wellness in Hyderabad, Dr. Ravi Vide builds a plan around your cycle, your reports and your routine — alongside your gynaecologist's care.
Overview of Hormonal Imbalance
Hormonal imbalances, including PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disorder) and PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), can disrupt your overall well-being — leading to irregular cycles, weight gain, acne, and fertility challenges. At Ravide Wellness, we take a holistic approach to restoring hormonal balance naturally through personalized nutrition, diet, and lifestyle changes.
- Led by Dr. Ravi Vide (MSc, PhD in Nutrition), specializing in clinical nutrition and metabolic health
- PCOS is often driven by insulin resistance, so plans focus on blood sugar stability, strength work and sleep — not just calories
- Sustainable eating built for Indian kitchens, with no crash dieting and no foods permanently banned
- Designed to work with your gynaecologist or endocrinologist, not in place of their diagnosis and treatment
Common Hormonal Imbalance Symptoms: Irregular Periods, Weight Gain & Acne
These signs often appear together and are easy to dismiss individually. If several sound familiar, it is worth getting properly assessed.
Irregular Periods & Missed Cycles
Cycles that are unpredictable, very long, or skip months altogether — often the earliest and clearest signal of a hormonal imbalance.
Weight Gain & Stubborn Belly Fat
Unexplained gain, particularly around the abdomen, or finding weight much harder to lose than it seems it should be.
Acne, Oily Skin & Excess Facial Hair
Persistent adult acne along the jaw and chin, oilier skin, or unwanted hair on the face, chin and body linked to raised androgens.
Hair Thinning & Hair Fall
Thinning through the crown and parting, or noticeably increased hair fall, which often accompanies raised androgen levels.
Fatigue, Mood Swings & Anxiety
Tiredness that rest does not fix, irritability, low mood or anxiety that seems to track with your cycle.
Difficulty Conceiving & Fertility Issues
Trouble conceiving, often because ovulation is irregular or absent — one of the most common reasons PCOS is first diagnosed.

Get Your Personalized Diet PlanOur 5-Step Approach to Hormonal Imbalance Treatment
Our mission is not simply to regulate one cycle — but to build the metabolic foundations that keep hormones steady for the long term.
-
STEP 01

Personalized Hormonal Health Plans
Address root causes, not just symptoms — built around your cycle history, reports, weight pattern and daily routine.
-
STEP 02

Insulin Resistance & Blood Sugar Support
Nutrition targeted at steadying blood sugar and improving insulin sensitivity — the metabolic driver behind many hormonal imbalance symptoms.
-
STEP 03

Hormone-Balancing Diet & Nutrition Guidance
A hormone-friendly diet to support metabolism, insulin sensitivity and gut health — practical, and sustainable long term.
-
STEP 04

Gut Health & Inflammation Support
Rebuilding digestion and correcting nutrient gaps through food, because poor gut health and low-grade inflammation make hormonal symptoms harder to settle.
-
STEP 05

Stress & Lifestyle Management for Hormonal Balance
Yoga, meditation and sleep optimisation — poor sleep and chronic stress both worsen insulin resistance and hormone regulation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hormonal Imbalance
Honest answers to common questions about hormonal imbalance care at Ravide Wellness.
Can PCOS be cured?
There is no permanent cure, and anyone promising one is overstating what is possible. PCOS is a long-term condition.
It is, however, one of the most manageable conditions we work with. Cycles often become more regular, acne and hair symptoms settle, energy improves and fertility frequently improves too — with sustained changes to nutrition, movement, sleep and stress.
Do I still need to see a gynaecologist?
Yes, and preferably before or alongside starting with us. Diagnosis needs proper assessment, which may include a hormone panel, thyroid and prolactin tests, and a pelvic ultrasound.
Irregular periods have several possible causes beyond PCOS. Assuming it is PCOS without checking risks missing something that needs different treatment.
Do I have to lose a lot of weight for this to work?
No. For women who are carrying extra weight, even a modest, gradual reduction often improves cycles and insulin sensitivity noticeably — the change does not have to be dramatic to matter.
It is also worth saying clearly that PCOS occurs in lean women too. If that is you, the focus shifts to insulin sensitivity, strength work, sleep and stress rather than weight at all.
Does PCOS mean I will not be able to have children?
No. Many women with PCOS conceive — some naturally, some with medical help. PCOS can make ovulation irregular, which often means conception takes longer rather than that it will not happen.
If you are trying to conceive, tell us, because the plan changes. It is also worth involving a fertility specialist early rather than waiting a long time.
Should I stop my metformin or birth control pills?
Not on your own. Both are prescribed for specific reasons, and hormonal pills in particular should not be stopped abruptly.
If your symptoms and reports improve, discuss any change with the doctor who prescribed them. We will happily share your progress records for that conversation.
Which tests are worth having?
Typically a hormone panel, thyroid function, prolactin, fasting glucose and insulin or HbA1c, lipid profile, vitamin D, and a pelvic ultrasound if your gynaecologist advises it.
Bring whatever recent reports you have to the first consultation. If you have none, we will suggest what to get done.
