What Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill in an enquiry form, book an appointment, call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your city or area
- Your preferred appointment date, time and location
- A description of the health concern you want help with, if you choose to share one
- Documents you send us voluntarily, such as lab reports, prescriptions or previous diet plans
- Payment reference details, where you pay for a program or a stay [CONFIRM 5]
Health information
During an enquiry or consultation you may tell us about your symptoms, diagnosis, medical history, current medications and supplements, eating habits, sleep, physical activity and family health history. Indian law treats this as sensitive personal information and we handle it accordingly.
We collect health information only when you volunteer it. You do not have to describe a medical condition in the website form in order to reach us. A name and phone number are enough, and our team can take the clinical details on a call or in person, where the conversation is private.
Information collected automatically
When you browse this website, our analytics and advertising tools may record:
- Your IP address and the approximate city it points to
- Browser, device type, operating system and screen size
- Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed and what you clicked
- The website, search result or advertisement that brought you here
This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Information from other sources
We may receive your details when you contact us through a third-party service rather than this website, including our Google Business Profile listing, our Facebook or Instagram pages, a Meta lead form, or WhatsApp Business. Those platforms operate under their own privacy policies as well as this one.
How We Use Your Information
| Purpose | What this covers |
|---|---|
| Responding to you | Answering your enquiry, arranging a call-back, scheduling a consultation |
| Delivering your program | Preparing diet plans and lifestyle guidance, scheduling follow-ups and therapy sessions, tracking your progress |
| Clinical records | Maintaining a record of your consultations so that follow-up care is informed and consistent |
| Reminders and follow-ups | Appointment reminders and check-in messages by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp |
| Payments | Processing fees, issuing receipts, maintaining accounts |
| Improving the website | Understanding which pages people find useful and where the site is confusing |
| Measuring advertising | Working out which advertisements and search terms lead to genuine enquiries |
| Legal obligations | Tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping, and responding to lawful requests |
| Grievances | Investigating and resolving complaints |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health information, symptoms or diagnosis with advertising platforms.
Consent and Your Choices
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, send us a message or begin a consultation. That consent is limited to the purposes listed above and to the data actually needed for them.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to ravidewellness@gmail.com or calling +91 81213 31530. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Once you withdraw, we stop processing your data for the purposes you have withdrawn from, and we delete or anonymise it unless we are required to keep it for a legal or accounting reason.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything lawfully done before you withdrew. If you withdraw consent while a program is in progress, we may not be able to continue delivering it.
To stop marketing or promotional messages specifically, reply STOP to any SMS or WhatsApp message from us, or tell us by email. Appointment reminders and replies to your own enquiries are service messages and will continue unless you ask us to stop those too.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
| Category | What it does | Tools used |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choices | Website platform cookies |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows us how pages perform | Google Analytics 4, via Google Tag Manager |
| Advertising | Measures whether our ads lead to enquiries, and shows relevant ads to people who have visited | Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag |
| Embedded content | Loads videos and maps from other services | YouTube, Google Maps |
Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps frames are served by Google and may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
You can control cookies through the consent banner on this site [CONFIRM 8] and through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you from using the site or contacting us. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Advertising and Measurement
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and on Google.
To measure whether those advertisements actually lead to enquiries, we may send a limited set of data to these platforms, including an irreversibly hashed version of an email address or phone number you submitted. Hashing turns the value into a fixed string of characters that the platform can match against its own hashed records but cannot read as plain text.
We do not include any description of your health concern, symptoms, diagnosis or treatment in data shared with advertising platforms.
You can limit how these platforms personalise advertising to you:
- Google — visit My Ad Center and adjust your ad personalisation settings.
- Meta — open Settings, then Ads, then Ad preferences, on Facebook or Instagram.
Information About Children
Under Indian data protection law, a child is anyone under 18 years of age.
Some of our programs, including support for autism and ADHD, are enquired about by parents and guardians on behalf of a child. Where you contact us about someone under 18, we rely on your confirmation that you are that person's parent or lawful guardian and that you consent to us processing their information for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not knowingly process a child's personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. We do not track children's behaviour for advertising, we do not build advertising audiences from children's data, and we do not direct advertising at children.
If you believe a child's information has been given to us without proper consent, contact our Grievance Officer and we will delete it.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share your information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Our clinical and support team, who need it to plan and deliver your care.
- Technology providers who run our website hosting, email, analytics and enquiry handling on our behalf, under instructions from us. [CONFIRM 7]
- Diagnostic laboratories or specialist doctors, where you ask us to refer you or share reports on your behalf.
- Payment processors, where you pay online. [CONFIRM 5]
- Professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers, where required.
- Government authorities, courts or regulators, where we are legally obliged to disclose.
We do not sell your data, and we do not give it to third parties for their own marketing.
Where Your Information Is Stored and How Long We Keep It
Our website and business systems are hosted [CONFIRM 6]. Some of the services we use, including Google, Meta and WhatsApp, process data on servers outside India. Indian law currently permits such transfers except to countries specifically restricted by the Government.
| Type of information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation | 24 months from last contact [CONFIRM 3] |
| Consultation and program records | 3 years from your last consultation [CONFIRM 4] |
| Invoices and financial records | For the period required under Indian tax law |
| Website analytics data | As set in our Google Analytics retention settings |
When a retention period ends, we delete the data or strip it of anything that identifies you.
How We Protect Your Information
- This website is served over HTTPS, so data you submit travels encrypted.
- Access to consultation records is limited to team members who need it for your care.
- Our email and business accounts are protected by strong passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication.
- Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- We review who has access to what, and remove access when someone leaves.
No system is completely secure. If something goes wrong despite these measures, the section below explains what we do.
If There Is a Data Breach
If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person, giving a plain-language description of what happened, what data was involved, what we are doing about it, what steps you can take to protect yourself, and who to contact for more information. We will do this within the timeframes set out in the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
Your Rights
As a Data Principal, you have the right to:
- Ask what we hold — a summary of the personal data we process about you and what we do with it.
- Correct or complete it — have inaccurate or incomplete data fixed or updated.
- Erase it — have your data deleted where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for and no law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, as described above.
- Nominate someone — appoint another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapable of exercising them yourself.
- Complain — raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
To exercise any of these, email ravidewellness@gmail.com or call +91 81213 31530. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not release someone's health information to the wrong person. We will respond within [CONFIRM 2] days. There is no charge for making a request.
Other Websites
This site links to other websites, including our social media profiles and YouTube channel. Once you follow a link away from ravidewellness.com, this policy no longer applies. We have no control over how those sites handle your information and we suggest reading their own privacy policies.
This Website Does Not Provide Medical Advice
The information on this website is general in nature and is published for education. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional. Our nutrition and lifestyle programs are designed to work alongside the medical care you already receive, not to replace it. Do not stop or change prescribed treatment on the basis of anything you read here. Our full Disclaimer covers this in detail.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services, tools or the law change. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a change that materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear rather than quietly updating the page.
